Terrion Arnold DET CB
Terrion Arnold: Let go by Detroit
22h agoArnold (shoulder) was cut by the Lions on Monday.
The news comes shortly after an Associated Press report that a Florida judge has set a $1 million bail in connection to Arnold's ongoing felony trial for charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. Arnold is unlikely to resume his NFL career until his legal proceedings conclude.

Omar Cooper Jr. NYJ WR
Jets' Omar Cooper: Solidifying spot in three-wide sets
1d agoCooper was the Jets' most impressive rookie in spring practices and looks to have solidified his spot in three-receiver sets, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
The Jets traded up into the first round to draft Cooper 30th overall. The versatile rookie out of Indiana played both on the outside and in the slot in college, which should help Cooper get on the field consistently alongside Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell. Per Geoffrey A. Knox of USA Today Jets Wire, Mitchell and slot receiver option Isaiah Williams were two of the Jets' top performers during the offseason program, so Cooper will need to continue building on his strong spring to secure playing time. That being said, Cimini expects Cooper's physical playing style to help the rookie shine even more once the pads come on in training camp.

Kenyon Sadiq NYJ TE
Jets' Kenyon Sadiq: Expected to be ready for camp
1d agoSadiq (abdomen) is expected to be ready for training camp, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Sadiq missed OTAs and minicamp due to hernia surgery, which stemmed from a college injury that the Jets said they were aware of when they drafted Sadiq with the 16th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Sadiq will have to play catch-up once healthy, but offensive coordinator Frank Reich has a plan for getting the athletic tight end up to speed. Reich views Sadiq as a mismatch for defenders due to the rookie's mix of speed (4.39-second 40-yard dash) and size (6-foot-3, 241 pounds).

Carnell Tate TEN WR
Titans' Carnell Tate: Looked polished at OTAs
1d agoTate impressed with his route running and catching ability at OTAs, and teammate Alontae Taylor described the rookie fourth overall pick as "polished," Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Tate has looked NFL-ready early on, suggesting the rookie wide receiver out of Ohio State won't face a steep learning curve as he adjusts to playing at the professional level. He could quickly emerge as the top receiving option for the Titans, who didn't have a player exceed 560 receiving yards during the 2025 regular season. Tate is building chemistry with 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward, who threw for 3,169 yards in a rocky rookie season.
-
Jack Bech LV WR
Raiders' Jack Bech: Could earn big role in Year 2
1d agoBech performed well during OTAs and could be a key part of Vegas' receiving corps under new head coach Klint Kubiak, Michael Canelo of SI.com reports.
Bech had just 20 catches for 224 yards across 16 regular-season games as a rookie, but the 2025 second-round pick could get more opportunities in his second season as part of an underwhelming Raiders wide receiver room that also includes Tre Tucker, Jalen Nailor, Dont'e Thornton and Malik Benson. Canelo's colleague Jared Feinberg describes Bech as a savvy route runner, and Bech's ability to get open with crisp routes should be rewarded more than it was in his rookie year if the Raiders get better quarterback play out of newcomers Fernando Mendoza and Kirk Cousins.

Baker Mayfield TB QB
Buccaneers' Baker Mayfield: Looking for middle ground on deal
1d agoMayfield reiterated Saturday to Steve McGehee of KWTV that he wants to remain in Tampa Bay on an extension, but the quarterback added that there is still work to be done to reach a middle ground in negotiations.
"I would love to be there," Mayfield said of Tampa Bay. "I think both sides want to get it done. Now it's a matter of finding that middle ground and what makes both sides happy." He previously said that he wants a new deal before training camp opens July 27. The two sides reportedly weren't close to a deal earlier in June, and Mayfield didn't provide an update on the progress, though he made it clear that he hopes to remain with the Buccaneers long-term.

Logan Henderson MIL SP
Brewers' Logan Henderson: Next rehab start set
28m agoHenderson (back) will make his next minor-league rehab start Friday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
It'll be the second outing of Henderson's rehab assignment after he struck out seven while throwing 50 pitches over three scoreless frames with Triple-A Nashville on Sunday. Manager Pat Murphy said Monday that the right-hander is expected to come off the injured list prior to the All-Star break, which lines up Friday's outing to be his final rehab start before rejoining Milwaukee's rotation.

Amed Rosario NYY 3B
Yankees' Amed Rosario: Clubs homer off bench Monday
29m agoRosario belted a three-run home run as a pinch hitter in Monday's loss to Detroit.
The Yankees were being shut out when Rosario came off the bench to pinch hit for Austin Wells with two runners on base in the eighth inning. The utility man came through with a blast to left-center field to plate the only New York runs in the game. Rosario had made four straight starts prior to Monday, and he could be in store for more opportunities in the lineup moving forward after Jazz Chisholm landed in concussion protocol following a collision with teammate Jasson Dominguez in Monday's loss.

Shane McClanahan TB SP
Rays' Shane McClanahan: Back in rotation Wednesday
33m agoMcClanahan is slated to start Wednesday's game against the Royals in Kansas City, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
McClanahan will return to the bump on seven days' rest, after the Rays elected to skip his turn through the rotation last week in an effort to monitor his workload coming off two seasons that were essentially wiped out due to injury. The 29-year-old has thus far been a picture of health in 2026, though he had seen his effectiveness wane over his four June starts (5.79 ERA, 1.82 WHIP in 18.2 innings). The Rays are hoping that the extra rest will allow McClanahan to deliver a bounce-back performance Wednesday, when he'll be taking on a banged-up Royals lineup that could be without one of its hotter hitters in Jac Caglianone (groin).

Rob Zastryzny MIL RP
Brewers' Rob Zastryzny: Throwing live batting practice
34m agoZastryzny (shoulder) will throw a live batting practice session Tuesday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Zastryzny has yet to make an appearance for the Brewers this season due to recurring shoulder and intercostal problems. Facing hitters is a big step for the lefty, and he could be cleared for a rehab assignment if things go smoothly.
-
DL Hall MIL RP
Brewers' DL Hall: Throwing on flat ground
38m agoHall (pectoral) has progressed to throwing on flat ground from 60-to-75 feet, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
Hall landed on the 15-day injured list in early June with a left pec strain. The lefty was given an anti-inflammatory injection earlier this month and cleared to resume throwing after visiting the doctor last week. Hall is aiming to rejoin the active roster for the Brewers by late July.
-
Coleman Crow MIL SP
Brewers' Coleman Crow: Facing hitters Tuesday
40m agoCrow (forearm) will throw a live batting practice session Tuesday, Jack Stern of BrewerFanatic.com reports.
It appears to be the first time Crow has faced hitters since he went down with a right flexor strain in mid-June. He should be ready for a rehab assignment soon. Crow's last appearance for the Brewers before getting hurt was in relief, but he could join the Triple-A Nashville rotation once activated from the 15-day injured list.

Jayden Quaintance SA C
Spurs' Jayden Quaintance: Sitting out Summer League
8m agoQuaintance (knee) won't play in the Summer League, per NBA reporter Matthew Tynan.
Quaintance is traveling with the Spurs, but it appears that the team is taking a cautious approach with the rookie first-rounder. The 18-year-old big man faced severe complications and persistent knee swelling last season following February 2025 ACL surgery, and it remains uncertain if he'll be a full participant for training camp this fall.
-
Carter Bryant SA SF
Spurs' Carter Bryant: Will play in Vegas
9m agoBryant will only play during the Las Vegas Summer League, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.
The Spurs will play a few games at the California Classic prior to their Vegas trip, and Bryant will be held out of those games. Bryant, who is entering his second campaign, averaged 4.2 points and 2.5 rebounds across 71 regular-season games as a rookie.
-
Hugo Gonzalez BOS SG
Celtics' Hugo Gonzalez: Set for plenty of reps this summer
12m agoGonzalez plans to play both FIBA qualifiers for Spain and in the Summer League for the Celtics, per Bobby Manning of Celtics on CLNS.
Gonzalez appears to be staying active this summer in preparation for his second NBA season in the fall. With Jaylen Brown's standing in Boston very much in limbo this offseason, Gonzalez could be thrust into a more significant role in 2026-27 if Brown is indeed traded away.

Jock Landale ATL C
Hawks' Jock Landale: Returning to Atlanta
2h agoLandale (ankle) will return to the Hawks on a one-year, $14 million deal, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
The Hawks will quickly lock up their backup center before he hits the open market. Across 68 regular-season games in 2025-26, Landale shot 51.5 percent from the field with averages of 10.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 22.1 minutes per game. Look for him to back up Onyeka Okongwu moving forward.
-
LeBron James LAL SF
LeBron James: Will leave Lakers
2h agoJames announced that he will play in the 2026-27 season, but it will not be with the Lakers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
James has informed the franchise that they can move on without him because he intends to play elsewhere. Retirement never seemed likely for James, as he continues to defy Father Time. Now that his intentions are public, it will be interesting to see which teams pursue him. Based on previous reports, it's likely that the Warriors, Cavaliers and Heat will make a run at him.
-
Robert Williams III POR C
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: To sign 3-year deal with Portland
3h agoWilliams will sign a three-year, $44 million contract with the Trail Blazers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Williams likely would've had a big market in free agency, so the Trail Blazers quickly moved to lock him up. He'll be penciled in as the backup center behind Donovan Clingan for 2026-27. During the 2025-26 regular season, Williams averaged 6.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.5 blocks in 17.1 minutes per contest.
-
Sebastian Cossa DET G
Mammoth's Sebastian Cossa: Secures two-year deal
1h agoCossa inked a two-year, $4 million contract with the Mammoth on Tuesday, per PuckPedia.
Cossa was dealt from Detroit to Utah during Friday's draft in exchange for the 2026 No. 23 overall pick. The 23-year-old netminder was a first-round selection in 2021, so he should have every opportunity to be the backup to Karel Vejmelka for at least the next two seasons. However, Cossa has just one game of NHL experience, so he will likely have to earn that role during training camp in September.
-
Carl Grundstrom PHI RW
Flyers' Carl Grundstrom: Inks one-year deal
2h agoGrundstrom signed a one-year, $1 million contract with Philadelphia on Tuesday, according to Darren Dreger of TSN.
Grundstrom was eligible to test the open market Wednesday, but the two sides agreed to terms on a new deal before the start of free agency. The 28-year-old Grundstrom had nine goals, 13 points, 56 shots on net, 23 blocked shots and 139 hits across 47 regular-season appearances with Philadelphia in 2025-26.
-
Angus Crookshank NJ LW
Panthers' Angus Crookshank: Acquired in five-player trade
2h agoFlorida acquired Crookshank and Jacob Markstrom (undisclosed) from New Jersey on Tuesday in exchange for Evan Rodrigues, (finger), Jesper Boqvist and Ben Steeves, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Crookshank had 24 goals and 36 points in 60 games for AHL Utica during the 2025-26 regular season. He also picked up one goal, seven blocked shots and five hits in eight NHL appearances with the Devils last campaign. Crookshank will compete for a depth role on Florida's Opening Night roster during training camp.
-
Jacob Markstrom NJ G
Panthers' Jacob Markstrom: Dealt to Sunshine State
2h agoFlorida acquired Markstrom (undisclosed) and Angus Crookshank from New Jersey on Tuesday in exchange for Evan Rodrigues, (finger) Jesper Boqvist and Ben Steeves, per Pierre LeBrun of TSN.
Before missing the final three games of the 2025-26 campaign because of nagging injuries, Markstrom went 23-19-1 with a 3.07 GAA, an .883 save percentage and one shutout in 44 regular-season appearances for the Devils. However, the veteran netminder will have bounce-back appeal in 2026-27 if he seizes control of the No. 1 role between the pipes with the Panthers.
-
Evan Rodrigues FLA C
Devils' Evan Rodrigues: Flipped in five-player deal
2h agoRodrigues (finger) was traded to the Devils from the Panthers on Tuesday along with Jesper Boqvist and Ben Steeves, in exchange for Jacob Markstrom and Angus Crookshank, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Rodrigues was limited to just 69 regular-season games this year but still managed to reach the 30-point threshold for the fifth consecutive campaign. With New Jersey, the 32-year-old natural center should slot into a middle-six role that could include power-play minutes as well. As such, Rodrigues should be a near-lock to reach the 30-point threshold again in 2026-27.
-
Jesper Boqvist FLA LW
Devils' Jesper Boqvist: Brought in by New Jersey
2h agoBoqvist, Evan Rodrigues (finger) and Ben Steeves were dealt from Florida to New Jersey on Tuesday in exchange for Jacob Markstrom (undisclosed) and Angus Crookshank, according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN.
Boqvist posted four goals, 13 points, 64 shots and 141 hits over 73 games in 2025-26. With his new team, Boqvist should fill a bottom-six role while potentially seeing time on the penalty kill. He has one season remaining on the two-year, $3 million contract he signed with Florida in March of 2025.
