Wenceel Perez DET RF
Tigers' Wenceel Perez: Pops seventh home run off bench
8m agoAppearing as a pinch hitter, Perez went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins.
Perez received a pinch-hit appearance against Minnesota catcher Alex Jackson in mop-up duty, and the former made the at-bat count with his seventh home run of the season. Five of those long balls have come in the last 13 games, though Perez is batting a modest .256 during the power surge and only .186 overall. The 26-year-old may struggle with consistency due to his low batting average, but he's providing fantasy value recently thanks to his ability to leave the yard.

Zach McKinstry DET 2B
Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Hits rare home run
16m agoMcKinstry went 2-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins.
McKinstry's home run came against Minnesota catcher Alex Jackson in mop-up duty, but he'll take it all the same. The utility infielder has gone deep only twice this season in 45 games, and he's batting just .192 with a .564 OPS. It's a fall off from 2025, when McKinstry went deep 12 times in 144 regular-season contests and posted a .259 batting average along with a career-best .771 OPS.

Anthony Kay CHW SP
White Sox's Anthony Kay: Contest postponed Thursday
16m agoKay will have to wait another day to return to the mound after Thursday's contest against Atlanta was postponed due to rain.
Kay was set to start Thursday's series finale against Atlanta, but he will now likely take the mound in Friday's series opener against the Dodgers. The left-hander is coming off of a disappointing outing against the Phillies on June 5, allowing six runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out four batters over four innings. Unfortunately for him and fantasy managers alike, Los Angeles is by no means an easy matchup.

Martin Perez ATL SP
Braves' Martin Perez: Game postponed due to weather
21m agoPerez will have his next start pushed back a day after Thursday's contest against the White Sox was postponed due to rain.
Perez will likely toe the rubber in Friday's series opener on the road against the Mets. The southpaw has posted a 3.45 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with nine strikeouts over 15.2 innings in his last three outings, and he owns a 4-0 record and 3.09 ERA over 43.2 career innings against the Mets.

Riley Greene DET LF
Tigers' Riley Greene: Goes deep again Thursday
22m agoGreene went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two total RBI in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins.
Greene was one of six Detroit players to go deep in the rout, and he's been finding his power stroke lately. The talented outfielder has now gone deep four times across his last nine games. Before this recent stretch, Greene had four home runs in 60 games. The 25-year-old looks primed for another big fantasy campaign as the season rolls along.

Colt Keith DET 3B
Tigers' Colt Keith: Blasts first 2026 home run
27m agoKeith went 2-for-4 with a home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins. He also stole a base.
Keith had an RBI single in the fourth inning, then went deep with a runner on in the sixth, which was his first home run of the season. The 24-year-old snapped a mini 0-for-8 slump over his previous three games, and he's now batting .262 with a .647 OPS across 63 contests this year. Keith is making good enough contact at the plate, though the limited power output has kept his OPS down so far.
-
Brett Sullivan COL C
Rockies' Brett Sullivan: Swats two homers in loss
37m agoSullivan went 3-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in a loss to the Cubs on Thursday.
Sullivan got the start behind the plate and batted out of the No. 9 slot in the order. He hit two of Colorado's three long balls (all solo shots) to post the first multi-homer game of his career. In fact, coming into Thursday, Sullivan had gone deep just three times across 206 career MLB plate appearances. Sullivan's performance against the Cubs was also his first multi-hit effort since April 29, and with one of baseball's most productive hitting catchers (Hunter Goodman) ahead of him on the depth chart, Sullivan doesn't figure to see extensive playing time moving forward.
-
Dillon Dingler DET C
Tigers' Dillon Dingler: Collects three more hits Thursday
42m agoDingler went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins.
Dingler enjoyed the series against Minnesota, as he went 8-for-15 with two home runs, four runs scored and five RBI during the three-game set. Overall, it's been a great start to the season for the Detroit catcher with 16 long balls and 49 RBI across 62 contests. The home run total is third among all MLB catchers, while Dingler leads his position group in RBI.

Drew Romo CHW C
White Sox's Drew Romo: Sitting Thursday
5h agoRomo isn't in the lineup for Thursday's game against Atlanta.
Romo will move to the bench for a second consecutive game after going 0-for-9 with a walk and two strikeouts across his last three contests. Edgar Quero will fill in as Chicago's catcher and bat seventh.
-
Samuel Basallo BAL C
Orioles' Samuel Basallo: Returning to lineup
5h agoBasallo (wrist) will start at catcher and bat fifth in Thursday's tilt versus the Mariners.
Basallo has been out of the lineup for the past three games as he deals with a bony growth in his left wrist, but he had a few plate appearances off the bench during that stretch and is now ready to return to the Orioles' lineup. The 21-year-old has collected a .801 OPS with nine home runs across 199 plate appearances for Baltimore this season.
-
Adley Rutschman BAL C
Orioles' Adley Rutschman: Back in Orioles' lineup
5h agoRutschman (hamstring) will start at designated hitter and bat third in Thursday's game versus the Mariners.
Rutschman has missed each of the last three games with left hamstring tightness, but he feels well enough to at least hit in Thursday's contest. The switch hitter has been better against righties (.876 OPS) than lefties (.760 OPS) this season and will take on Seattle righty Bryan Woo in the series finale.
-
Chuckie Robinson LAD C
Dodgers' Chuckie Robinson: Selected from OKC
6h agoThe Dodgers selected Robinson's contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Thursday.
The 31-year-old will join the big club for the first time this season to make up for the loss of Will Smith, who landed on the injured list Thursday with neck inflammation. Robinson owns a .763 OPS through 84 plate appearances at Triple-A this season but isn't likely to receive many at-bats with the Dodgers while working as a backup to Dalton Rushing.

Spencer Torkelson DET 1B
Tigers' Spencer Torkelson: Launches 10th home run
38m agoTorkelson went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins.
It was a pretty typical Torkelson performance, as he struck out in his other three at-bats. The slugger had no home runs through his first 23 games of the season but has now gone deep 10 times in his last 45 contests. Torkelson figures to continue to struggle with making consistent contact, though he seems to be finding his groove from a power perspective.

Alec Burleson STL 1B
Cardinals' Alec Burleson: Homers in third straight game
5h agoBurleson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Mets.

In those 11 games, Burleson has gone 16-for-45 (.356) with a 1.119 OPS. He's boosted his slash line to .290/.356/.486 across 284 plate appearances this year with 11 homers, 48 RBI and 35 runs scored.

For the season, Harper is slashing a robust .267/.376/.517 with 15 big flies, 38 RBI, five stolen bases and 45 runs scored across 282 plate appearances.
-
Ryan Ward LAD 1B
Dodgers' Ryan Ward: Belts first career grand slam
8h agoWard went 1-for-3 with a grand slam Wednesday in a loss to the Pirates.
Ward gave the Dodgers a 6-1 lead with his grand slam to right field in the sixth inning, though Pittsburgh made a late comeback to secure the victory. Ward could have had the opportunity to drive in another run with a runner on second base in the eighth, but he was pinch-hit for by Alex Call. Regardless, Ward has shown ample power since his most recent call-up May 28, mashing three homers and driving in 10 runs over seven contests. He's working in the strong side of a left-field platoon, starting at that position each of the Dodgers past five games against a right-handed starter.
-
Rafael Devers SF 1B
Giants' Rafael Devers: Launches solo shot in win
10h agoDevers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Wednesday's 11-10 win over the Nationals.
After going 0-for-11 in 14 plate appearances over his previous three games, Devers launched a home run to center field in the eighth inning and drew a walk in the ninth before coming around to score. The veteran infielder has struggled through 10 outings this month, batting .122 with seven runs scored, three RBI and two home runs across 48 plate appearances. Gleyber Torres DET 2B
Tigers' Gleyber Torres: Lifts off in win Thursday
33m agoTorres went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 11-0 win over the Twins.
Torres was one of six Detroit players to go deep in the easy win. The infielder only has four home runs so far this season, though he did miss about a month of action due to an oblique strain. Torres has been a steady performer when healthy with a .282 batting average and .790 OPS, and he's been even better lately with a .357 batting average over his last 15 games.
-
Luke Keaschall MIN 2B
Twins' Luke Keaschall: Out of Twins' lineup
10h agoKeaschall is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest in Detroit.
Keaschall will receive some routine rest during Thursday's matinee. The Twins will roll out Royce Lewis at second base in the series finale.
-
Travis Bazzana CLE 2B
Guardians' Travis Bazzana: Cooling off
13h agoBazzana went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees.
Bazzana's first-inning single snapped an 0-for-17 stretch, which is part of a greater slump for the second baseman -- over the last eight contests, Bazzana is 4-for-31 (.129). He's managed to steal a couple of bases during the skid and is up 10 (on 12 attempts) across 39 games.
-
Jackson Holliday BAL 2B
Orioles' Jackson Holliday: Launches grand slam in win
13h agoHolliday went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Wednesday's 7-2 victory over the Mariners.
Holliday broke the game open with his grand slam off Domingo Gonzalez with two outs in the seventh inning. It's the third career grand slam and third homer this season for Holliday. Coming into the day, he'd gone just 3-for-18 (.167) over his previous six contests. Since returning from the IL on May 19, Holliday is slashing .220/.319/.424 with 10 RBI, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases.

Brandon Lowe PIT 2B
Pirates' Brandon Lowe: Kicks off rally
19h agoLowe went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a walk and a run scored Wednesday against the Dodgers.
Lowe kicked off the Pirates' dramatic late-game rally in the seventh inning by delivering a two-run double, and he later came around to score. He has only one multi-hit game across his last 13 starts-- he's hit .166 in that span -- but he's still managed to tally 10 RBI and nine runs scored during that stretch.

The 24-year-old snapped a mini 0-for-8 slump over his previous three games, and he's now batting .262 with a .647 OPS across 63 contests this year. Keith is making good enough contact at the plate, though the limited power output has kept his OPS down so far.
-
Colt Emerson SEA 3B
Mariners' Colt Emerson: Returning to Seattle lineup
6h agoEmerson (back) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Thursday's contest in Baltimore.
Emerson was held out of the Mariners' lineup for each of the previous three contests as be battled back spasms, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in Thursday's series finale. The rookie infielder is sporting an elevated 30.4 percent in his first 19 major-league games but has gone deep four times.
-
Alec Bohm PHI 3B
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Strong stretch continues
8h agoBohm went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 7-4 win over Toronto.

For the year, Bohm is slashing .226/.283/.366 with eight long balls, nine doubles and 34 RBI over 258 plate appearances.

Maikel Garcia KC 3B
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Exiting starting lineup

Corey Seager TEX SS
Rangers' Corey Seager: Belts homer Thursday
1h agoSeager went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in a 4-2 win against the Royals on Thursday.
Seager registered the only long ball in the game with his 391-foot solo blast in the third inning. It was his second homer over five contests since coming off the injured list June 5, a span in which he's batting .238 (5-for-21) with four RBI. Seager still has a long way to go to get his production up to it usual level, as he's slashing .186/.284/.373 through 204 plate appearances on the campaign.
-
Otto Lopez MIA SS
Marlins' Otto Lopez: Swipes two bags Thursday
1h agoLopez went 2-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases against Arizona in a 2-0 win Thursday.
Lopez was the only batter on either team to record multiple hits in the low-scoring affair. He manufactured a run in the first inning by knocking a single, reaching second base on a disengagement violation, stealing third and then coming home on a sacrifice fly. The speedy infielder added another theft later in the game for his third multi-steal performance of the campaign. Lopez is in the midst of the best season of his career, as he leads qualified MLB hitters with a .344 batting average while adding five homers, 18 doubles (tied for fifth-most), three triples, 30 RBI, 42 runs and 13 steals through 68 games.

Jordan Lawlar ARI SS
Diamondbacks' Jordan Lawlar: Returning Friday
3h agoThe Diamondbacks will reinstate Lawlar (wrist) from the 60-day injured list ahead of Friday's game against the Reds, John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
Lawlar has been on the shelf since early April due to a fractured right wrist. He was cleared to begin a rehab assignment May 30 and has since gone 6-for-28 with four walks, two RBI and five runs scored over eight games. Once activated, he'll be a candidate to start in the outfield until Lourdes Gurriel (hamstring) returns from the IL.
-
Colson Montgomery CHW SS
White Sox's Colson Montgomery: Back in starting nine Thursday
4h agoMontgomery (back) will start at third base and bat cleanup in Thursday's game against Atlanta.
The 24-year-old infielder will step back into the starting nine after a tight back kept him from playing the past two days. Over his first six games of June, Montgomery has gone 3-for-23 (.130 average) with a home run, three runs and two RBI while striking out at a 44.4 percent clip.
-
Javier Baez DET SS
Tigers' Javier Baez: Moved to 60-day IL
5h agoThe Tigers transferred Baez (ankle) to the 60-day injured list Thursday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.
The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for waiver claim James Outman. Baez encountered a setback earlier this month with his right high-ankle sprain and remains shut down from baseball activities. He's now ineligible for activation until late June, but it seems unlikely Baez will be ready by then, anyway. A timeline for his return won't become clearer until he is able to ramp up activities again and eventually go out on a rehab assignment.
-
Josh H. Smith TEX SS
Rangers' Josh Smith: Rehab moves to Triple-A
12h agoSmith (glute/wrist/illness) moved his rehab from Double-A Frisco to Triple-A Round Rock.
Smith started his rehab assignment, playing two games for Frisco before spending the last two contests with the Express. He's 3-for-12 with two walks, a home run, three RBI and three additional runs scored across the four appearances. Smith played back-to-back days in Triple-A on Tuesday and Wednesday. He played all nine innings in each game, logging a start apiece at first base and third base.

Cole Carrigg COL CF
Rockies' Cole Carrigg: Records first big-league homer
33m agoCarrigg went 2-for-4 with a solo home run against the Cubs in a loss Thursday.
Carrigg achieved a milestone in the fourth inning, when he cranked a 418-foot blast to right field for his first major-league long ball. The talented rookie has started three straight games since being called up Tuesday and has gone 3-for-11 with a triple, a walk and Thursday's long ball. Carrigg has yet to attempt a steal, but he swiped 29 bags over 57 games for Triple-A Albuquerque before joining the big club, so that skill should eventually show up as well.

Seiya Suzuki CHC RF
Cubs' Seiya Suzuki: Crushes grand slam Thursday
43m agoSuzuki went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in a 9-3 victory against the Rockies on Thursday.
Suzuki came up with the bases loaded in the fourth inning and bashed a homer to left field to give the Cubs all the runs they would need to secure the victory. He also struck out twice in the contest, but the homer was enough to extend his hitting streak to eight games -- though Suzuki has yet to notch multiple knocks during that span. The 31-year-old is up to 10 home runs on the season as he pursues his second straight 30-homer campaign.

Tommy Pham NYM LF
Orioles' Tommy Pham: Likely to opt out of deal

Pham signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles on May 16 and has since slashed just .172/.246/.345 with three homers, nine RBI and 10 runs scored through 65 plate appearances. The 38-year-old outfielder isn't likely to make much of a contribution in the majors at this stage in his career, so he will likely have to settle for another minor-league deal in free agency or consider retirement.

Justin Wrobleski LAD SP
Dodgers' Justin Wrobleski: Exits early with potential injury
27m agoWrobleski (undisclosed) exited Thursday's contest against the Pirates in the fifth inning, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Wrobleski took a line drive off his thigh with two outs in the bottom of the fifth frame, and although he attempted to cover the bag on what ended up being a single for Bryan Reynolds, manager Dave Roberts ultimately decided to remove the pitcher. The southpaw finished his day having tossed 4.2 innings, giving up four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out one batter. More information on Wrobleski's status will likely be provided in the near future.

Shane Bieber TOR SP
Blue Jays' Shane Bieber: Scoreless start in rehab outing
42m agoBieber (elbow) tossed six scoreless innings, allowing five hits and a walk while striking out five batters in his rehab outing with Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.
Bieber was making his second start with Buffalo, and he was far more successful the second time around, notching 46 strikes over 62 total pitches. The right-hander was able to average 91.4 mph on his fastballs, peaking at 93 mph on the day. Bieber may need just one more rehab start before making his 2026 debut with the Blue Jays.

Ryan Feltner COL SP
Rockies' Ryan Feltner: Begins strong but fades in loss
1h agoFeltner (2-2) took the loss against the Cubs on Thursday, allowing six runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three batters over 4.1 innings.
Feltner was perfect through three frames, but the bottom fell out thereafter. Chicago got to him for four runs on four hits and a walk in the fourth inning, with the big hit being a grand slam off the bat of Seiya Suzuki. Feltner returned for the fifth and issued two walks while retiring just one batter, and both runners be put on base came around to score after his departure. It was a disappointing outcome after Feltner looked like he might be turning a major corner over his past two outings, during which he gave up just one run over 12 frames. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for a rematch against the Cubs in Chicago.
-
Edward Cabrera CHC SP
Cubs' Edward Cabrera: Rebounds for fourth victory
1h agoCabrera (4-3) notched the win over Colorado on Thursday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out five batters over 5.1 innings.
After being pounded by the Giants for eight runs over 3.2 frames in his first start back from the injured list in his previous outing, Cabrera looked better against the Rockies. The right-hander did give up two more homers, but they were both solo shots, and Colorado couldn't put any other runs on the board. Cabrera tossed 51 of 83 pitches for strikes and secured his first victory since April 28. The five long balls he's allowed across his past two appearances are certainly a concern, but Cabrera is lined up for a more promising matchup in his next start, which is scheduled to be a rematch against the Rockies -- this time in Chicago.

Pete Fairbanks MIA RP
Marlins' Pete Fairbanks: Impressive in eighth save
2h agoFairbanks earned a save against the Diamondbacks on Thursday, striking out two batters in a perfect ninth inning.
Fairbanks was called upon to protect a 2-0 lead in the ninth inning and made quick work of Arizona, retiring the side in order on 13 pitches. It was one of the better outings in what has been an inconsistent campaign for the veteran reliever, and Thursday marked just the third time over his past 12 appearances that he didn't allow a hit or a walk. Fairbanks continues to serve as Miami's primary closer despite holding a 6.63 ERA and 1.47 WHIP through 19 innings spanning 21 outings on the season. He's converted eight of 10 save chances and has a 27:11 K:BB.
-
Tyler Phillips MIA RP
Marlins' Tyler Phillips: Defangs D-backs for first victory
2h agoPhillips (1-1) earned the win over Arizona on Thursday, allowing two hits and issuing two walks while striking out five batters over five-plus scoreless innings.
Phillips served as a bulk reliever in his previous outing June 5, but he was deployed as a starter Thursday. The right-hander excelled in that role, limiting the Diamondbacks to just one hit through five frames. Phillips went back out for the sixth and yielded a single before being lifted at 70 pitches. Having worked out of the bullpen for most of the campaign, Phillips isn't yet up to a full starter's workload, topping out at 82 pitches in that June 5 piggyback appearance. He should be able to push his pitch count up as he settles into the rotation, and he may be worth a look for fantasy managers in need of pitching given his 2.95 ERA across 18.1 innings since moving into the rotation. His 14:8 K:BB over that span is less appealing, though.

Mariners' Matt Brash: Facing extended absence
4h agoBrash has returned to Seattle to have his right lat strain evaluated further, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Brash missed most of May with a strained lat and then went back on the 15-day injured list Wednesday after aggravating the injury. More should be known about a timetable once he's looked at by doctors in Seattle, but manager Dan Wilson acknowledged Thursday that there is "going to be a little bit more time down" for Brash during this second IL stint.

Rangers' Joc Pederson: Held out with hip injury
