Coach Sean Payton said Thursday that Nix (ankle) is expected to practice at mandatory minicamp next week, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.

Nix suffered a fracture in his right ankle near the ned of the Broncos' divisional-round win against the Bills and missed the AFC Championship Game loss to the Patriots. After undergoing surgery in late January, he was facing a 12-week recovery, but his on-field work during the offseason program was delayed due to a clean-up procedure that he had in late April. Payton noted Thursday that Nix participated in the walkthrough prior to Thursday's OTA, while adding that he believes Nix will be "completely clean, mobility-wise," once he's back to full health, according to Stevens. The dual threat has combined for 7,706 passing yards and 786 rushing yards in 34 regular-season games since he was selected 12th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Coach Shane Steichen said this week that Jones (Achilles) is expected to participate in 11-on-11 drills when training camp begins next month, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Jones, who suffered an Achilles' tear Dec. 7 last year, has been been working in the seven-on-seven portions of practice, and per Boyd, the QB asked about about moving on to 11-on-11's during the team's minicamp this week. On that topic, coach Shane Steichen noted, "we want to be super smart with him...I mean, could he potentially do it (11-on-11)? Yeah, probably. He probably could, but we're not going to do that right now." In any case, Jones' recovery remains on track, and assuming no setbacks this summer, he'll continue to work toward being ready to go for the Colts' Sept. 13 regular-season opener against the Ravens, with the signal-caller's eventual participation in team drills representing a major milestone toward that.

Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Thursday that Mahomes (knee) should "be able to do some things in camp," Nate Taylor of ESPN.com reports.

Reid also said Mahomes is "on course to get ready for camp", though "the healing process has to keep taking place." It's mostly coach-speak, but overwhelmingly positive, which meshes with previous favorable reports on Mahomes' rehab from mid-December surgery to repair ACL and LCL tears. He's been limited to individual drills and 7-on-7s at OTAs, allowing Justin Fields to take first-team reps.

Mahomes (ACL) and Kansas City agreed to terms Wednesday on a deal that amends two additional years to his contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Mahomes' new deal keeps him under contract with the Chiefs through the 2033 season and carries a total value of $504.75 million, providing the 30-year-old quarterback an average salary of $64 million per season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Per Pete Sweeney of the Kansas City Star, Mahomes continued to participate in 7-on-7 drills at mandatory minicamp this week while rehabbing from a torn ACL and LCL suffered in Week 15 of last season, but he remained sidelined during 11-on-11 drills. It remains to be seen when Mahomes will be cleared to resume handling full-team reps, but by all accounts his offseason recovery continues to proceed on schedule.

Klubnik is dealing with back tightness and won't practice Wednesday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

It appears as if Klubnik avoided a serious back injury, as head coach Aaron Glenn told reporters Wednesday that he expects the rookie quarterback to return for the Jets' minicamp next week. During his final collegiate season at Clemson, Klubnik threw for 2,943 yards, 16 touchdowns and six interceptions while adding 94 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. He's expected to compete for New York's No. 2 QB spot as the offseason progresses.

Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur declined Wednesday to name a starting quarterback, though Brissett reported for the start of mandatory minicamp on Monday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

LaFleur's lack of an answer when asked about Arizona's starting quarterback may partially be posturing, after Brissett held out of voluntary workouts earlier in the offseason due to dissatisfaction with his current contract. It wouldn't be out of the question, however, for the Cardinals to host a competition that includes backup Gardner Minshew and rookie third-rounder Carson Beck if the team suspects Brissett will enact a "hold in" as the offseason progresses. Brissett is heading into the final season of his two-year deal and is slated to carry a $4.88 million salary in 2026. Earlier in the offseason, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN reports that Arizona informed Brissett (who was in attendance for Tuesday's minicamp practice but did not participate) he would be the team's starter for 2026.

Reid (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Bills on Thursday.

If the running back goes unclaimed by other teams, he will revert to Buffalo's injured-reserve list, at which point he'd have to reach an injury settlement with the team to have a chance to play in 2026. Reid signed with the Bills as an undrafted free agent in May. In seven games with Pitt in 2025, he recorded 60 carries for 278 yards and two touchdowns as well as 23 catches for 317 yards and two scores.

Miller (knee) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Ross Jackson of LouisianaSports.Net reports.

The running back was not practicing during OTAs as recently as late May after tearing his ACL in Week 7 of the 2025 campaign. Now, though, he appears to be back, at least on a limited basis. At the moment, the 2023 third-round pick faces a crowded backfield situation in New Orleans, with free-agent signing Travis Etienne, veteran Alvin Kamara and 2025 sixth-round pick Devin Neal.

Ford (shoulder) has been practicing, Zach Selby of commanders.com reports.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, on the other hand, has been absent from recent practices with a soft-tissue injury. It sounds like Rachaad White has been getting a lot of the first-team snaps, but Ford is also getting some work alongside QB Jayden Daniels. While not necessarily a standout in either role, Ford theoretically could fill in for either Croskey-Merritt on early downs or White on passing downs. However, Ford got only $437,500 guaranteed on his one-year, $1.4 million contract, leaving him at risk of missing out on the Week 1 roster if things don't go well this summer. The Commanders also have sixth-round pick Kaytron Allen and 30-year-old Jeremy McNichols competing for roster spots. There's been no hint of trouble with the shoulder injury that ended Ford's 2025 campaign in Cleveland.

Croskey-Merritt has been absent from spring practices due to a soft-tissue injury, NFL reporter Ben Standig reports.

Commanders RBs coach Anthony Lynn didn't sound too concerned, noting that mental preparation is more important than on-field work during the offseason program. Free-agent signing Rachaad White presumably has taken a lot of the first-team snaps, with Jerome Ford, Jeremy McNichols and sixth-round pick Kaytron Allen also competing for playing time. Croskey-Merritt played all 17 games during his rookie season, getting 175 carries (4.6 YPC, eight TDs) but just 13 targets. Head coach Dan Quinn suggested the Commanders have high expectations for Croskey-Merritt in 2026, pointing to the passing game and kick returns as potential areas for improvement, per Zach Selby of Commanders.com.

Irving (shoulder) was on the field for Thursday's OTA.

A clip posted by the Buccaneers showed the running back getting in some on-field work Thursday, which included catching passes. It remains to be seen when Irving will be cleared for full contact as he bounces back from offseason shoulder surgery, but his participation in Thursday's session, in any capacity, supports a previous report by ESPN's Adam Schefter that the 2024 fourth-rounder was likely to be ready at some point during training camp. Next up for Irving and his teammates following their current OTAs will be mandatory minicamp from June 16-18.

Coach Mike Macdonald said Wednesday that Charbonnet continues to do a "great job" in his recovery from the torn ACL he suffered during the divisional-round of last season's playoffs, Cameron Van Til of Seattle Sports reports.

Per the report, Charbonnet, who underwent surgery to repair his left knee Feb. 20, did some conditioning work during Tuesday's minicamp practice. Given the timing of his procedure, the expectation has been that Charbonnet will miss time out of the gate this coming season, and in that scenario 2026 first-round pick Jadarian Price, as well as George Holani and Emanuel Wilson, would be in line to handle Seattle's backfield duties come Week 1. However, when asked if there's a chance Charbonnet could be ready by the start of the season, Macdonald said Wednesday, "Everything's possible." Either way, Charbonnet's progress will be worth monitoring closely as the summer rolls along, and once he's ready to return to game action, the 2023 second-rounder will have an opportunity to claim a key role in a Seahawks RB corps that no longer includes Kenneth Walker, who led the team with 221 carries in 2025.

Dell (knee) was limited during the Texans' minicamp that ended Thursday, but he has been "running and cutting without setbacks," Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Dell continues to rehab from the devastating knee injury that cost him all of the 2025 season. While he wasn't a full participant during Houston's just-completed minicamp, he did catch passes in team drills and worked off to side. The Texans' goal is to have Dell continue to ramp up over the summer so that he can increase his activity level during training camp. However, the team isn't providing a concrete timeline for when the wideout will be fully ready to participate in practices or play in games.

Benyard was waived by the Bills on Thursday.

The wide receiver signed with the team as an undrafted free agent in May after five seasons at Kennesaw State. In 2025, Benyard finished with 60 catches for 949 yards and nine touchdowns. He'll now have to look elsewhere for an NFL home.

Tomczak signed with the Bills on Thursday.

The wide receiver initially signed with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent in April, but he was waived in May. Tomczak caught 225 passes for 3,024 yards and 15 touchdowns in four seasons at Youngstown State.

Thompkins signed with the Bills on Thursday.

The wide receiver was cut by Atlanta in May after seeing action as a punt and kick returner for the team in 2025. Thompkins will likely aim to compete for a similar role with the Bills, as he has just 29 regular-season catches across four NFL campaigns.

Coker and the Panthers agreed on a three-year, $35 million contract extension with incentives up to $41 million Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Coker was entering a contract year after signing his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with Carolina in April, but he will now be under contract for the next few seasons. The wide receiver has combined to catch 65 of 89 targets for 872 yards and five touchdowns over 22 regular-season contests in his first two NFL campaigns. He is set to enter the 2026 season as the Panthers' primary slot receiver, and he'll look to take a step up in production after his big payday.

Davis signed with the Steelers on Thursday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.

The wide receiver was waived by the Vikings a week ago. Davis has yet to make his regular-season debut.

Yeboah (knee) signed with the Cardinals on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

The tight end appears to be healthy again after missing the 2025 campaign with a knee issue. Yeboah saw regular-season action each year with the Jets from 2021-2024, though he played more on special teams than offense during most of that time.

Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Wednesday that Fidone underwent a clean-up procedure for his foot injury and is expected to return for training camp, John Fennelly of USA Today reports.

Fidone appeared in seven games for the Giants during his rookie campaign, failing to record an offensive statistic while playing 94 total snaps (80 on special teams, 14 on offense). Once fully healthy, the Nebraska product will likely compete for a depth spot in New York's tight end room.

Musgrave sustained an injury during Packers' practice Tuesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Head coach Matt LaFleur wouldn't disclose Musgrave's injury, but the tight end was spotted on a treadmill in the rehab area during Wednesday's practice. Despite Tucker Kraft (knee) missing Green Bay's final nine regular-season games in 2025, Musgrave remained a minimal part of the offense, catching just 24 of 31 targets for 252 yards. Once he returns to full health, he'll likely battle for one of the Packers' reserve TE spots.

Pryor didn't practice Wednesday due to a quadriceps injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The Northern Iowa product spent time with the Texans' practice squad last season and signed a reserve/future contract with the team in late January. Once fully healthy, Pryor will likely compete for a depth role in Houston's tight end room.

Kraft (knee) said Wednesday that he expects to play Week 1 without any playing-time restrictions, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.

Coming back from last year's ACL tear, Kraft is absent from OTA practices but hopes to participate in training camp. Packers coach Matt LaFleur also said he hopes to have the tight end on the field during the early portion of training camp, and Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said Kraft is ahead of schedule in his rehab process. While the Packers have a well-earned reputation for caution with injured players, it sounds like all parties are on board for Kraft making a run at gaining clearance for Week 1.

Stowers appears to have a lower-body injury and isn't doing much at Wednesday's practice, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

The rookie second-round pick has a sleeve over his right leg and reportedly hasn't been doing much this week. Philadelphia's first-round pick, WR Makai Lemon, has also been absent from recent practices, nursing a hamstring injury that doesn't sound overly severe. Stowers' issue doesn't sound serious either, but it's possible he'll be limited for these last few practices before the Eagles break for the summer. Nothing at this stage hints at doubt about his availability for the start of training camp in late July. The concern for Stowers' fantasy value is Dallas Goedert's continued presence in Philadelphia, not a minor injury during OTAs.

Shrader (knee) went three of five on kicks during minicamp Thursday, Kevin Bowen 93.5 The Fan in Indianapolis reports.

It's notable that the kicker even participated after tearing his ACL in Week 5 of the 2025 campaign after being run into by a defender. Shrader is on track to compete with Blake Grupe for the Colts' starting kick job during training camp. Grupe made all five of his kicks Thursday, per Bowen.

The Buccaneers signed Potter on Monday, Brianna Dix of the team's official site reports.

Potter initially signed with the Steelers after going undrafted in 2023, but he was later dropped and has never appeared in an NFL regular-season game. Across his final two seasons at Clemson, the 26-year-old converted all 97 of his point-after tries and 41 of 52 field-goal attempts.

Ryland is the only kicker on the Cardinals' roster after Joshua Karty was waived Thursday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

Ryland was the Cardinals' kicker for all 17 games last season en route to making 25 of 33 field-goal attempts and all 36 of his extra-point tries. Karty was claimed off waivers from the Rams late last season, but he wasn't made active by Arizona down the stretch. In any case, Thursday's move eliminates what could have been a job battle this summer, with Ryland's fantasy upside in 2026 linked to how well the team's offense clicks with veteran signal-caller Jacoby Brissett at the helm.

The Jets are signing Sanders and waiving Younghoe Koo, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.

Sanders took just one day to find a new team after the Giants released him on Tuesday. He held down the placekicking job in Miami from 2018 to 2024, but after missing all of last season with a hip injury, Sanders may have to compete with Cade York (groin) for the Jets' placekicker job. York has been missing OTA practices due to a groin injury, so the Jets might even consider bringing in another kicker at some point.

The Giants released Sanders on Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Sanders signed as a free agent back in March, but he's now back on the free agent market with offseason workouts underway. The competition for the Giants' kicking job is now between Ben Sauls and undrafted rookie Dominic Zvada.

York (groin) has not been able to participate in OTAs this week, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

It's unclear if the issue is serious and will require York to miss time beyond this week, though it likely contributed to New York's recent signing of Younghoe Koo, according to Cimini. York signed a one-year deal with the Jets in March after not seeing any regular-season action in 2025.

Cooper has had additional charges of felony second-degree assault by strangulation and misdemeanor third-degree assault added to his previous charge of criminal mischief with a domestic violence enhancer, Luca Evans of The Denver Post reports.

Cooper was arrested during the evening of June 4 and made a court appearance Monday, during which he pleaded not guilty to the original charge. A trial has been scheduled for late July. Cooper has been with the Broncos during OTAs since Monday, and head coach Sean Payton said team leadership had a "long visit" with the outside linebacker in regard to the incident that spurred the legal charges. Payton added, "We'll follow the league's guidelines, and I'm sure a lot of that will be led by the local authorities' guidelines. We'll pay attention to all of it."

Nelson (knee) is participating in OTAs.

The linebacker missed the last two regular-season games of 2025 with a knee injury, but he appears to be ok. Nelson recorded 38 tackles (21 solo), including 3.0 sacks, two pass breakups, including an interception, and two forced fumbles last year.

McCollum (hip) is participating in OTAs.

The cornerback was placed on IR in December of last season after suffering a hip injury. Now that he's back, he should be able to resume his role as a starter. McCollum started all 30 regular-season games he was available for over the last two campaigns.

Blackmon (shoulder) is participating in minicamp, Ross Jackson of LouisianaSports.net reports.

The safety played in just one game in 2025 due to a shoulder injury, but he nonetheless re-signed with the Saints in January. Blackmon recorded 86 tackles with the Colts in 2024.

Hickman signed his restricted free-agent tender with the Browns on Thursday, Dominic Pagura of SI.com reports.

The move keeps the safety in Cleveland for at least 2026. Hickman broke out last season, finishing with 103 tackles (51 solo) and seven pass breakups, including two interceptions. He should play a starting role again in the coming campaign.

Morrison missed Thursday's OTA session due to a leg issue, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Quadriceps and hamstring injuries limited Morrison to 10 games during his rookie season in 2025, though it's unclear if this is a similar issue. Morrison was selected in the second round of the draft last year and projects as a starter if he's available.
