Mariners' Michael Arroyo: Raps out three hits
Arroyo went 3-for-5 with a run scored in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Angels.
This is Arroyo's second multi-hit effort in a row and his fourth overall. The 21-year-old is now batting .353 over 14 games in the majors, adding one home run, two stolen bases, four RBI and five runs scored. Arroyo's plate discipline is already evident -- he has a 5:6 BB:K, and that should help him as he tries to make a full-time adjustment to the majors moving forward.

Mariners' Josh Naylor: Reaches 30-steal mark
Naylor went 0-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Angels.
Naylor has reached the 30-steal mark for the second year in a row. That's a rare accomplishment for a first baseman -- he's the first to post 30 steals in consecutive years since George Sisler did in three straight years from 1920-1922. Prior to Naylor's last two years, the last first baseman to have 30 steals in a campaign was Paul Goldschmidt in 2016. While the work on the basepaths has been impressive, Naylor has struggled in other areas, batting .261 with a .667 OPS, 10 home runs, 56 RBI, 48 runs scored and 22 doubles over 151 contests. That OPS is his lowest in a full-length campaign; only his .621 mark in the abbreviated 2020 campaign is worse in his eight seasons.

Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Nabs another steal
Arozarena went 2-for-5 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Angels.
Arozarena has collected five steals over his last 14 games. He's had plenty of chances to run lately, hitting .364 (20-for-55) in that span. The outfielder is up to 26-for-34 on steal attempts this season while batting .281 with an .863 OPS, 26 home runs, 77 RBI, 32 doubles and two triples over 153 contests. Arozarena also leads the American League with 112 runs scored, trailing only Pete Crow-Armstrong (119) in the majors.

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Homers in Saturday's win
Crawford went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Angels.
Crawford homered as part of a four-run seventh inning for the Mariners. The shortstop has gone deep four times over his last 12 games, adding seven RBI in that span. For the season, he has 14 long balls, two more than last year despite being limited to 115 contests. Crawford has batted just .220 with a .687 OPS, 40 RBI, 54 runs scored, 12 doubles and a stolen base this year.

Mariners' Kade Anderson: Diagnosed with forearm bruise
Anderson left Saturday's game against the Angels due to a left forearm bruise.
Anderson was quickly pulled from Saturday's start after taking a comebacker off his pitching arm in the fourth inning. It appears the 22-year-old southpaw has avoided a serious injury, a good sign for him and the Mariners heading into the offseason. Anderson made his major-league debut Aug. 22, and across seven big-league starts he posted a 3.79 ERA and 1.23 WHIP across 35.2 innings.

Mariners' Kade Anderson: Pulled quickly after taking comebacker
Anderson was removed from Saturday's start against the Angels due to a left elbow injury, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.
Anderson took a 103.8 mph comebacker from Christian Moore in the fourth inning, and the former was promptly removed from the game after talking with trainers. Kramer notes that Anderson has stayed in the dugout rather than going to the clubhouse for further evaluation, so the move to remove the 22-year-old southpaw appears to have been a precautionary decision, especially with the Mariners eliminated from playoff contention. Michael Rucker was brought out from the bullpen following Anderson's exit.

Arroyo went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one stolen base in Friday's 7-5 loss to the Angels.
Arroyo has hit safely in just five of his 13 games in the majors, but three of those instances have included multiple hits. The rookie is batting .310 with an .883 OPS, one home run, two steals, four RBI, four runs scored and two doubles over 35 plate appearances. Consistency is still a work in progress, but Arroyo is poised to compete for an everyday job in the not-too-distant future.

Mariners' Dominic Canzone: Launches 23rd homer
Canzone went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Friday's 7-5 loss to the Angels.
Canzone's ninth-inning blast got the Mariners within two runs, but they couldn't tie the game. The outfielder has hit safely in 20 of 22 games this month, going 27-for-89 (.303) with 10 extra-base hits and 16 RBI in September. Canzone has generally been a bright spot in his first full big-league campaign, batting .264 with an .821 OPS, 23 homers, 77 RBI, 58 runs scored, 27 doubles, four triples and two stolen bases over 144 contests.

Mariners' Bryce Miller: Stuck with loss Friday
Miller (4-10) allowed five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings to take the loss Friday versus the Angels.
Miller had a decent start going through five innings before Christian Moore tagged him for a three-run home run in the sixth. Miller's campaign was a tale of two halves -- he had a 1.71 ERA over his first nine outings, but he went winless (0-8) over his last 13 games, posting a 6.14 ERA across 66 innings in that span. It shakes out as a 4.17 ERA overall, along with a 1.16 WHIP and 119:38 K:BB across 118.2 innings through 22 games (21 starts). The silver linings were Miller improving his strikeout, walk and home run rates from last year while staying healthy after opening the year with an oblique strain.

Mariners' Troy Taylor: Back in majors
The Mariners recalled Taylor from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.
Taylor will come up from the minors as a replacement for Andres Munoz (knee), who landed on the injured list Friday. The 25-year-old Taylor has spent all season at Tacoma, logging a 5.14 ERA and 1.75 WHIP across 56 innings, and he'll likely be limited to low-leverage work during the final weekend of the regular season.

Mariners' Andres Munoz: Done for season
The Mariners placed Munoz on the 15-day injured list Friday with right knee inflammation.
Munoz hasn't pitched since Sunday due to knee problems, and although MRI results on his knee came back negative Tuesday, the Mariners will play it safe and shut their closer down for the year. The 27-year-old didn't quite live up to expectations this season, posting a 4.24 ERA and 1.22 WHIP across 57.1 innings, but he still managed to turn in 28 saves and an 89:24 K:BB. Troy Taylor was called up from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Mariners' Bryan Woo: Strikes out eight in loss
Woo (12-10) allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out eight over 5.1 innings to take the loss Thursday versus the Angels.
The story of Woo's season was extreme home/road splits, but he ended the campaign with 11 runs allowed (10 earned) over his last 17.1 innings at T-Mobile Park. Overall, it concludes as a mostly average campaign for Woo, who had a 4.01 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 175:39 K:BB across 173 innings over 30 starts. He still figures to be a major part of the Mariners' rotation moving forward.
